Data Deletion
You can have everything Realbard holds about you deleted — self-serve for most of it, by a single email for all of it. This page lists exactly what we hold, every way to delete it, and the timeline we commit to. It applies to all users, including anyone who connected a Google or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account.
Contents
1. What we hold
- Account data — your name, email address, and hashed password.
- Workspace data — your organization, its members and roles, and brand-voice material.
- Listings and campaigns — property listings you added and the marketing content generated from them, with approval history.
- Connected platform data — for each advertising account you connected (Google Ads, Meta): account identifiers, campaign structure, performance metrics, and the encrypted OAuth tokens authorizing access.
- Logs and support history — technical logs and any correspondence with us.
Details of why each is collected are in the Privacy Policy.
2. Delete it yourself, in the app
- Listings and campaigns — delete them from their own pages in the app; deletion is immediate in the interface and completes on the backend within the timeline below.
- A connected platform — go to Connections → Disconnect. Access stops immediately, the stored OAuth token is deleted immediately, and the platform data held for that connection is removed on the timeline below.
- Your whole account and workspace — a workspace admin can request account deletion from Settings, or by email as described in the next section.
You can also revoke Realbard’s access from the platform’s side at any time: Google account permissions for Google, or Settings → Business integrations in Facebook for Meta. Revoking from the platform side has the same effect as disconnecting in Realbard.
3. Request deletion by email
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request” from the address your account is registered under (or include enough detail for us to verify you own the account — we verify every request so that no one else can delete your data). Tell us whether you want:
- specific content deleted (named listings, campaigns, or a platform connection), or
- your entire account, workspace, and all associated data deleted.
We confirm receipt within 3 business days and confirm completion when the deletion is done.
4. What gets deleted, and what survives
A full deletion removes your account, workspace membership, brand material, listings, generated content, approval history, connected-platform data, and stored tokens. Three narrow categories survive, because the law requires or permits it:
- billing and tax records, kept for the statutory retention period;
- records we must keep to comply with a legal obligation or resolve an active dispute;
- aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that identify no one.
Note that campaigns already published to an advertising platform live in your account on that platform — deleting your Realbard data does not delete ads from your own Google Ads or Meta account, which remain under your control there.
5. Timeline
- Immediately: platform access stops and OAuth tokens are deleted when you disconnect; deleted content disappears from the interface.
- Within 30 days: the data is removed from all production systems.
- Within 90 days: the data ages out of encrypted backups and is gone entirely.
